- The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has launched its Beta phase in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, making the network accessible in seven Indian cities.
- Presently, ONDC boasts over 40,000 sellers across 200 cities, with more than 18,000 operating in the newly added Beta phase cities.
- ONDC, a Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade initiative, seeks to create interoperable networks to eliminate dependency on single platforms.
