Low Cost Ventilator Startup OneBreath Secures $3 mn Funding From Ventureast Tenet Fund & Angels

Low cost medical devices company OneBreath has raised about $3 mn from Ventureast Tenet Fund and angel investors, according to a new report.

The company which makes low cost ventilators has plans to expand to India, Africa and Eastern Europe with the money it raised. (via) The money will also be used to get regulatory approvals in the United States & Europe. Onebreath< The company was incubated in Stanford and focuses on Markets like India. It has tied up with hospitals in India, where such ventilators are in short supply. Vijay Simha a former FICCI official, Mathew Callaghan from Stanford University & Bryan Loomas are the people behind the startup which has an office in Bangalore.
