These devices do not support Widevine Level 1 DRM which is required to watch HD content from DRM protected services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Google Play Movies.
The devices currently supports only Widevine Level 3 which limits its support to Standard Definition (source).
An update will be rolled out soon – but isn’t this really weird for a flagship product launch ?
