Bangalore based Gympik an online fitness discovery platform, has raised its pre-series A funding from RoundGlass Partners.
“We have seen incredible adoption of Gympik. The funding will be used to help us meet this growing demand and expand into new geographies. We will also use the funding to hire technical talent that can help us reach our expansion goals,” said Amaresh Ojha, Founder and CEO, Gympik Health Solutions.
Gympik owns 10,000 fitness centres and 6,000 trainers from 20 cities currently participating on the platform claims the company.
The startup also offers cloud-based software and a personalised application for fitness centres, which can be deployed by centre managers, trainers and consumers to track performance and fitness schedules.
The platform allows users to calculate calories burnt based on their specific data and health stats, basal metabolic rate (BMR), body mass index (BMI) and heart rate, apart from daily lifestyle and health tips offered.
