Monsoon Ads has launched MonsoonConnect, player independent online video advertising plugin that eliminates the need to use a custom online video ad network player.
Online video portals can now simply add the MonsoonConnect plugin to obtain video ads regardless of what player they use on their online video platform.
Monsoon Ads is also integrated with other video ad networks to aggregate video ads from multiple sources (including the Monsoon Advertising Network and Direct Publisher Sold campaigns), rank them by highest CPM and provide these ads to portals for the most efficient monetization.
Monsoon Ads aggregates advertisements from premium ad networks such as Google Adwords, Yahoo Publisher Network, Kanoodle etc and has signed in top bollywood portals like Raaga, Santabanta, smashhits, 123greetings, indyarocks, ventuno and nautanki.tv (claims to offer advertisers access to over one billion premium online display and video impressions a month).
Few days back, Times Group rebranded their Zoom audience network as Times Audience Network and partnered with BigAdda to to host videos from Zoom and Times Now channel on the site.
Jivox too has partnered with BigAdda for video monetization to enable BigAdda publishers to monetize their video assets.
Given all the developments around video ad networks, I am wondering whether do we have enough video publishers in India? Is putting up TV shows online the best (or the last?) bet for advertisers?
