Opera adds ChatGPT integration for webpage and article summaries

  • Opera is integrating generative AI capabilities into its web browser.
  • The first feature to be rolled out is “Shorten,” which will use ChatGPT to create summaries of articles and webpages.
  • There will be a new icon to the right of the address bar that will open a sidebar with a bulleted summary of the webpage.
