The big moment for Opera has arrived- Opera Mini has been approved for iPhone and iPod touch on the App Store. Opera Mini will be available as a free download within 24 hours, depending on market.

Users of the app will notice an uptake in speed, especially on slower networks such as the 2G Edge network. Opera claims that Mini is 6 times faster than the native browser and the company recently partnered with Vodafone to run on low cost handsets and is targeted towards the emerging markets.

Opera has taken an aggressive route (or the underdog?) and recently announced crossing the 100 million mark.

Adobe CS5 Launched

Adobe has launched CS5 featuring integration with online content and digital marketing measurement and optimization capabilities for the first time, Creative Suite 5 products include access to signature Omniture technologies, to capture, store and analyze information generated by Web sites and other sources.

Additionally, a brand new component, Adobe Flash® Catalyst™, joins the Creative Suite, ushering in the ability to design interactive content without writing code and improve the collaborative process between designer and developer. [details]
