Oppo To Invest Rs 100 Crore And Open A Manufacturing Unit In Noida

Oppo is planning to set up its local manufacturing in Noida and start the operations by August. The company will invest Rs 100 crore for this unit and it will have a capacity of 10 million handsets.

This unit will handle the whole manufacturing process but no export will be done.

The Chinese company had earlier set up its unit which will assemble phone locally in partnership with Foxconn and that will continue.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi, Samung, Lenovo have also started their manufacturing unit in India.
