P Vasudevan named new executive director at Reserve Bank of India

P Vasudevan has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Reserve Bank of India(RBI) effective from July 3.
Previously the Chief General Manager-in-charge of the Department of Payment and Settlement Systems, Vasudevan will now oversee three departments, including currency management.
With nearly three decades of service at the RBI and credentials like a master’s degree in finance, CAIIB, and Fintech certification, Vasudevan brings vast experience to his new role.
