A font can bring down Pakistani government !

And Microsoft’s Calibri font will be blamed for that !

1. Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif is currently entangled in a corruption case related to the Panama Papers’ leak about undisclosed properties under the family’s name.
2. She has properties in London, but never declared those in her tax returns.
3. She submitted photocopies of these properties, but forensic team found out that the type font used to produce both certified declaration as ‘Calibri’.
4. The twist?
   

   Maryam Nawaz claims that the deal was signed in 2006 – BUT the Calibri font was “commercially launched” in 2007 !
