The land of nawabs and awesome biryanis are going to see someintense startup action as Startup Weekend heads to Hyderabad in a week. In March, this year Startup Weekend made its way to India. Delhi and Bengaluru were added to the list of 195+ cities in which Startup Weekend has been organized across the globe.
Startup Weekend gives an opportunity to industry professionals, students, and entrepreneurs to invest a weekend creating a startup from scratch. Ideas are pitched on Friday evening and by Sunday evening the teams formed amongst the participants find themselves pitching a final product / prototype to the judging panel. Some even have paying customers by Sunday.
