Paridhaan, which is Patanjali’s new apparel brand, will include jeans and office wear. According to the company’s founder-owner, Yoga guru Ramdev, the idea of a clothing line started, when his followers asked for a Patanjali yoga wear. He said the company will not only make traditional Indian dresses but also western wear for both men and women.
Patanjali is also venturing into new territories. Baba Ramdev said, that his ‘Swadeshi’ consumer goods company, has already entered Nepal, Bangladesh and the Middle Eastern countries, and even plans to start businesses in Pakistan and Afghanistan, once the political conditions there stabilises.
