Patym has hit a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of US $ 1.5 billion with 10 million products listed and 10k merchants receiving orders through its platform.
The company clocks 90% of its orders from unstructured categories like fashion, home furnishing and accessories. 60% of the GMV is contributed by categories like clothes, fashion accessories, footwear, electronics accessories, home and kitchen items.
“This incredible off take in such a short time is because of our focus on merchant capabilities and systems instead of working with only a few large merchants,” says Shankar Nath, Senior Vice President, Paytm.
The logistic services connects the merchants to a network of courier partners and allowing them to reach to 39,000 pin codes in the country. The company also provides training to the merchants and offers them the facility of mobile messenger to communicate with the customers.
