Paytm launches ‘Build for India’ initiative to promote open-source projects

Paytm has announced ‘Build for India’ initiative to promote ‘building and sharing’ culture among developers in the country. Under this initiative, the company will launch ‘Indian Open Source Project Incubator’, where professionals and students can build open source-based solutions and share those projects with the global developer community.
Key focus areas for the open source projects are Education, Digital Lifestyle, Financial Inclusion, and new-age technologies like Machine Learning, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. The virtual incubator will be aimed at finding developers who can use technology and design to build world-class solutions.

So is this a business incubator which will ‘only’ focus on open source projects? What is the expected outcome of this incubator? Or is this more of a ‘talent hunt’ programme?
