World’s largest consumer product company, P&G has announced $5.24 billion loss due to the struggles of its Gillette shaving business, in part because many hirsute men are ditching razors.
“Lower shaving frequency has reduced the size of the developed blades and razor’s market,” said Jon Moeller, P&G’s chief financial officer.
What are the growth avenues for Gillette products then? They were recently a prominent sponsor at one of the cricket tournaments where except for 1 or 2 players, every other player had a beard!
Peak beard is what we have achieved.
