Bachelors – Footloose and Fiance free. But not free of disease?
Well, if you have decided to stay single and mingle (and tingle/dingle/all sorts of fun!) all through your life, you better think twice.
Never-married people are prone to health risk and heart diseases too!
WebMD reports several interesting findings:
The never-married people are:
- 5 times more likely to die of infectious disease
- Twice as likely to die in accidents, homicides, or suicides
- 38% more likely to die of heart disease
- For men, the never-married penalty is stronger early in life.
Researchers cite isolation/lack of friends/social network as one of the major reason for the poor-emotional health of bachelors.
Oh well, the choice is between a happy life vs. the longer one (with lots of strings attached!).
You decide!
“Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body,
But rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand, Strawberries in the other, screaming WOOOO HOOOOO – What a Ride!!!”
