Twitter’s live-streaming video app Periscope has crossed the 10 active accounts milestone on Android and iOS.

The company said it reached that number just four months after its launch but more impressively, users are collectively watching 40 years worth of content on a daily basis.

Periscope Growth

The metrics are only for Android and iOS versions of the app and the company hasn’t even included web streams in the count.

Moreover, Twitter still maintains that Periscope is still work in progress. New feature additions being considered include a fast forward button for when streams are being replayed.

The company is also working on ways to reduce spam and abuse on Periscope and the more importantly, a feature to let users broadcast in landscape mode.
