Person With New Blood Group ‘INRA’ Found in Gujarat

But doctors in Surat, Gujarat, claim to have discovered a new blood group, which they have named as ‘INRA’. IN stands for India, RA is the first two letters of the person with the blood type.

The blood sample was first tested by a team of doctors at Surat’s Lok Samparn Raktdan laboratory, who then sent it to the World Health Organisation (WHO), which has reportedly validated its uniqueness.

While the mysterious blood sample, have the doctors wondering, the bad news for the person with this blood type is that, he can neither donate blood to anyone nor can he accept blood from any other blood group.
