In this country we are used to deadlines shifting. We even have a petition to shift the deadline of another petition. At PI we try to stay away from this trend – and in most cases manage to do so.
We received a lot of requests to shift the deadline of nominations. Many of them are valid reasons why you cannot submit your entries in time and we understand these reasons. So we have decided to extend the deadline (now doesn’t this sound like the Supreme Court) till 7th of Oktober 2010.
However there are a few points we would like to mention –
- We will start evaluating the startups that have already submitted the applications – so they have a headstart in a sense
- Not all of the startups who have nominated themselves will be selected. So for some of those (in this round) who miss it by a narrow margin, we will have some special stuff lined up (details soon).
- We will follow a (US) B school intake process – we evaluate on FCFS basis (First Come First Service) and start engaging with those startups from 3rd October onwards. Of course if you are good, you will be selected anyways – but the climb just got a bit steeper.
Lastly, we heart statups – like no one else. So we dont want to miss out on a good one – just for an excuse of time. So throw us the idea and go ahead and submit your nominations here.
