A $35 wearable device, Pokémon Go Plus, will be available Sept. 16 “in most countries”, the game’s developers Nintendo and Niantic Labs announced. The device can be worn on the wrist and is compatible with both the Android and iOS versions of Pokémon Go, which lets you capture Pokémon without taking your smartphone out of your pocket.
The device uses Bluetooth technology to alert users to the presence of nearby Pokémon and PokéStops.
At Apple’s iPhone 7 launch, Niantic also announced that it is also working on Pokémon Go for the Apple Watch.
