German luxury sports car maker Porsche will launch its electric car Taycan in India by May 2020. The car is set for a global launch in September this year.
The car will be built on 800-volt architecture offering a range of 500kms. Porsche has collaborated with five-star hotels in India to offer charging facilities for its luxury cars.
The company welcomes the Indian Government’s initiatives under the Fame II scheme to promote electric vehicles in the country. Earlier this week, Porsche launched its new compact SUV Macan in India at a starting price of Rs. 69.98 lakh.
