Chennai lad R Praggnanandhaa has become the second youngest Grandmaster in the world at 12 years, 10 months and 13 days – and is the only one alive.
The first record goes to Sergey Karjakin of Ukraine (he become the youngest Grandmaster at 12 years, 7 months in 1990).
