PresentSir is a newly launched portal from Infibeam (they recently acquired PicSquare) that is building an online community for college students to share study related material and establish new college/business contacts.
This social network will help to maintain existing relationships with pictures and messages, and establish new ones by reaching out to people you’ve never met before.
The site hosts information about colleges and degrees awarded by them and aims at (in future) providing a platform for users to download syllabus, study material, assignments and share reviews and opinions.
Essentially, this is another SEO game from InfiBeam and unless they have substantial offline network presence, PresentSir will most likely be absent from college jargon.
What’s your opinion?
Education is a big business in India, but do you think a social network kinda product will add value to the same? I believe we need a combination of chegg and doostang.
