The reason why we started up was to build a very very strong product community – the ones who will go beyond the ‘chalta hai’ attitude and really build world class products.
The ones who will not just discuss the (AI) future, but importantly take a deeper dive into the operational aspects of building a sustainable growth engine.
Even after more than $10 billion in funding, India hasn’t product a lot of great product startups. Yes, we have some great success stories- but we are still ‘not there yet’.
It’s not that we don’t have product mindset – just that we need to really start giving the first preference to product and then to marketing (TVCs anyone?) and distribution. The startups jumped the gun and we all know where the startup ecosystem is.
Which begs an important direction -> Talk / Build great products first (startup/funding can come later).
Announcing #ProductGeeks Conf
We are happy to announce #ProductGeeks Conf, 2- days conference which will bring together the brilliant product minds from the country and will take a deeper dive into the product business.
We are not just taking a deeper look at the future of tech, i.e. impact of AI / ML in Indian context (including Bharat)- but we will be talking real shit around product management / product thinking and growth.
