Women and Child Development Ministry has launched an online platform ‘Mahila E-Haat’ for women entrepreneurs from rural parts of the country.
The platform will allow the women to sell their products without any additional cost. The products can range from clothing to organic food.
The website can also be managed from mobile. To avail the website, the women entrepreneurs will have to submit the required information online via email or letter.
The moderators will then select the products to be displayed and inform vendors. The sellers can also do the pricing of the products using their own discretion.
