Serial entrepreneurs K Ganesh & wife Meena Ganesh who bought Protea Medical, a Delhi based in-home healthcare services company in July, have sold over 30% stake in the company to Accel Partners & Ventureeast.
The investors have put in $8 mn in exchange of the minority stake in the company (source). The company was founded by Zachary Jones, the former head of research at Copal Partners.
K Ganesh and Meena Ganesh have have had a series of successful including the sale of TutorVista to Pearson for over $200 mn.
Through their startup accelerator cum angel investment fund, Growthstory, the two have invested and mentoried startups including Must See India, Bookadda, Delyver, Bluestone and Bigbasket, which raised $10 mn from Ascent Capital in March last year.
They invested in OnlinePrasad, an online venture which connects people to spiritual places recently.
