Quora Launches in Hindi; The implementation makes no sense

Quora has launched in Hindi after a closed beta launch in April.
The implementation makes no sense and here is why:
The hindi version of Quora is almost a fresh start for any user, instead of an expected translation from English language. The hindi (or for that matter any other language) version is totally a new version and has no relationship with English version / content – which speaks more of Quora’s inability to do text translation (at scale) rather than a well thought out decision.
Works for new users, but otherwise no appeal for existing users inspite of the fact that Quora (Eng) is full of stories on Mahabharat and ..IITs.
