Bangalore-based radio station Indigo has launched its mobile app called Indigo Music to promote audience engagement and offer advertisers another avenue to connect with consumers.
The app has been built with the purpose of creating a social community of Indigo listeners where they can discuss topics and issues with each other.
Engagement on the app will earn users loyalty points which they will be able to redeem at Indigo Live Music Bar or any Indigo Live event.
In terms of driving revenues, the Indigo Music app will offer brands that advertise over the air the chance to engage with people via the app.
The app also allows users to request, share, dedicate or even participate in a live on-air contest, and reserve tables at its Indigo Live Music Bar.
