After a successful exit from Networkplay, Rammohan Sundaram is beginning his new innings by starting his second entrepreneurial venture PlatformPlay with Manish Vij. The new company, PlatformPlay Media Ventures Pvt Ltd, will act as an entry point into India for international digital media players planning to increase their presence in India.
Digital media network, SVG Media will be involved with the company as an investor. Manish Vij will join the Board of PlatformPlay as SVG Media’s representative. SVG Media currently operates Tyroo, PrecisionMatch, DGM and Velocity in Performance, Digital Data and Display.
On the launch Ram said, “With PlatformPlay, we would be the first of its kind firm focussing on “India Entry” for various international digital brands looking at either entering or expanding their footprint in the market.”
The main audience PlatformPlay plans to target include Web Publishers, Mobile App Creators, Mobile Web Publishers, Smart TV Manufacturers, Handset Manufacturers, Mobile Carriers, Large Event Owners and Digital Advertising Agencies.The company plans to start by making a few announcements soon.

The company plans to bring the right audience for various categories of advertisers through some exclusive sign ups. With the Indian digital advertising market headed to a 2B USD mark by 2016-17, it is going to see a lot of international entrants in the next few quarters.
