Hyderabad based packaging material maker Bollant Industries has raised an undisclosed funding from Ratan Tata.
This is the third non tech investment by Ratan Tata. He had earlier invested in Grameen Capital India, a social impact-focused investment advisory firm and also in healthcare service provider Swasth India.
Bollant Industries is an eco friendly, disposable consumer packaging solutions provider. The company was founded in 2012 by MIT graduate and visually impaired Srikanth Bolla.
The company currently employs over 400 people and more than 60% are differently-abled.
