After a lot of buzz about its launch, Reliance Jio is finally reaching out to select customers through an invite system, reports RTN Asia.

Reliance Jio had earlier launched its 4G service for its employees but no major launch for the service was done.

With the special invite, the customers will get a trial SIM and a LYF phone. The invites have been handed out to the company’s employees but they can invite only 10 friends to use the service.

After receiving the invite, one needs to print the mail with the unique code and visit any Reliance Digital or Digital Express store and avail the offer which includes the handset and 4G Service, unlimited high speed data, 9000 text messages, 1500 minutes of high definition voice and HD video calling for 90 days. But valid documents including address and identification proof and a passport size photo needs to be shown for activation.

The invite is valid only upto 15 days from the date it was received and cannot be transferred. International roaming cannot be activated on the sim for the first 90 days of free services either. Also the SIM will work only on LYF phones and on no other handset.

The service has been launched in the telecom circles including, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, MP and Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Maharashtra and Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
