Telecom service provider Reliance Communications has partnered with Twitter in India to launch a bundled prepaid plan called ‘Reliance Twitter Access Pack,’ for Reliance GSM subscribers in the country.
Reliance subscribers won’t have to pay any data charges to access Twitter.
The offer will last for a period of 90 days during the T20 cricketing season and comes bundled for all new Reliance GSM prepaid subscribers with unlimited twitter access.
Twitter has customized the Twitter app with which customers who have the ‘Reliance Twitter Access Pack’ will be able to view a message on the header and footer of the app mentioning Twitter is free of charge with Reliance Mobile. The app will show a pop up alerting the user of additional data usage charges if the consumer chooses to visit an external link.
All existing Reliance GSM prepaid subscribers can subscribe to the ‘Reliance Twitter Access Pack’ by sending a SMS “ACT Twitter” to 53739 or by dialing *777*30# from their smart phones and access unlimited Twitter with Reliance.
