Bangalore based startup Notarymama wants to make it easy for you. Notarymama deals with affidavits, rental agreements, bonds, deeds, forms, certificates, attestations, registrations of companies and a whole lot of serious paperwork.
All you need to do is call them up, or hit them up on their website and buy the service you want. They will call or e-mail you the details. The startup promises to deliver the document in less than 48 hours.
Notarymama’s founder Gireesh Challa used to help co-workers with rental agreements. Soon he found that there are many people who badly want someone to help them out with paperwork.
I wanted to save them their leaves and the trouble of finding the right office with the complete knowledge of the required proof. As naively simple, the idea was, it had to be implemented only after setting up a network of efficient legal professionals, gazette officers and information about the various public offices, to establish the authenticity.
In the last 2 months, the startup has served more than 150 customers.
The future plan is to expand its services to NBFCs, banks, private sectors and provide a single window service where they pick up documents to be notarized on a daily basis.
What we like about the service is that compared to the pain one has to go through to get these things done, it is totally worth the money. Also, documents are delivered in a neat envelope inside a waterproof zip-lock pouch. The site could use more design finesse and better self service features.
Notarymama has tied up with FedEx for delivery and uses DirecPay for payments.
