CCD (Cafe Coffee Day) founder, VG Siddhartha is dead.
His body was found by the fisherman in Hoige Bazaar, by the sea shore, at around 6.30 am (July 30th).
His letter to the board speaks of challenges he was going through.
CCD's Siddhartha missing (in pic: his letter to the board).
An instance of 'ease of doing business in India'.
We really hope and pray that he is safe. pic.twitter.com/0AtYoKXgXd

RIP, the entrepreneur behind many entrepreneurs and leaders.
Back in the days when there were no Starbucks, Costa Coffee etc – CCD was the only place where entrepreneurs and business leaders would meet.
A salute to the man who had a vision to create a conversational place for entrepreneurs, leaders and lovey-dovey couples – when there were no other options and importantly, too many naysayers bringing down the idea of a model like this.
There were certain ‘hotspots’ in Bangalore and NCR, where I have seen, been a part of many such meetings, chitchats and debates. These continue to fuel the conversations, but now without Siddhartha, the founder.
RIP Sire.
