Union Minister for Heavy Industries Arjun Meghwal has stated that the central government’s push for electric vehicles has slightly contributed towards the slowdown in the auto industry.
He also said that since the govt. is committed to promoting EVs because of Paris agreement on climate change, the automobile sector had to bear its immediate impact.
He also stated that the country was heading towards a trillion-dollar economy and did not acknowledge any nationwide slump.
