Robots would now deliver mail in Norway to the doorstep, well almost.

The Norwegian postal service, ‘Posten’, has signed a partnership with San Francisco based robotics startup called Buddy Mobility. Buddy Mobility would provide robots that delivers parcels to the doorstep, well almost.

The postal robot runs at 6 km/hour and can deliver 100 parcels in a day. The way it works is, the robot sends an app notification to the recipient, when it is close to the recipient.

The recipient can walk to the robot, pick up the parcel and then robot moves on (via).
