Saama Capital Raises $31 Million, Plans To Invest In Late Stage Rounds

Venture Capital firm Saama Capital has raised close to $31 million for its third venture capital fund.

The firm will look at startups which has raised close to $2.5 million in Series A with 100-150% reserved for the follow-on rounds but is also keen to invest in early stage rounds.

With this raised capital, the firm has already invested in six startups including LendingKart, Eazydiner, Veeba Foods, Jifflenow, Raw Pressery and an undisclosed company.

This fund will be utilized in funding SaaS and food companies which are focused on supply chain and  also companies in the financial technology space.

The company had earlier backed biggies like Paytm and Snapdeal and others including Chai Point and Raw Pressery.
