Following recently reported cases of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices exploding while being charged, the company has delayed its sales in India. In an official release Samsung acknowledged that there were at least 35 such cases reported globally, and it’s conducting an inspection with their suppliers to identify possible affected batteries in the market.
But Samsung has some good news for those who have Pre-booked Galaxy Note7. The company is giving away a new Gear VR and an Oculus content voucher worth Rs 3,300 absolutely free of cost, as a “gesture of gratitude for your patience”. And for those, who want to get a refund, the company has directed them to contact their retailer/online portal for details.
