Samsung Says Demand For the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Is Higher Than Anticipated

Samsung is banking a lot on the success of its new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones, and in on a positive note, the company announced that it is witnessing higher than anticipated demand for both devices.
Just last week Samsung’s mobile chief J.K. Shin said that the company could face a near-term supply shortage for the curved screen on its Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone, and the latest announcement elucidates on that.
According to a Reuters report, the company has clarified that while there may be some difficulties in procuring the device in the short term, the company will secure enough supply to meet global demand soon.
While the company hasn’t revealed any shipment or pre-order figures just yet, we should get to see how successful Samsung has been at garnering consumer interest post April 24 when the devices go on sale
