Samsung has launched Gear VR, a virtual reality headset and Gear S2, a smartwatch priced at Rs.8,200 and Rs 24,300 respectively.
The Gear VR is compatible only with Samsung Galaxy smartphones including Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, S6 and S6 edge.
Gear S2 is a sleek wearable which comes in a circular design. The device is available in two variants; the Gear S2 and the Gear S2 Classic. The smartwatch runs on Samsung’s Tizen OS and not Android and its battery lasts for 2-3 days, said the company.
The Gear S2 is 11.4-millimeter thin and has a 1.2-inch screen with 360 x 360 pixels resolution (302 ppi). It uses a 1-GHz dual core processor equipped with a number of sensors.
