TV Block is the name of the technology, which is “pre-loaded on all Samsung TV products.” When a TV is proven to have been stolen, Samsung records its serial number and then waits for it to be online.
The serial number is then examined, and if it appears on the list, “the blocking system is implemented, disabling all the television functions.”
