Sensara has announced that it has raised an undisclosed funding from Ganayantrika Systems and Lalitesh Katragadda.
Founded by ex-Google employee Bharath Kumar Mohan, Sensara aims to enhance the TV watching experience. If the company’s app and website is open while watching television, one will know which channels are on an ad break and all the total number of channels that are running ad breaks.
The company has also built Sensy, a unique TV search and remote Android app.
“We’ve set out on a mission to understand everything that happens on Television – in real time. An incredible platform team made use of the best of signal and image processing along with sequence mining methods to create AdBreaks.in, a real time index of all TV Commercials in India,” said Bharath in a post.
