Shipment Tracking Startup Roambee Raises $4.1 Million Series B Round

Roambee has raised $4.1 million, with $3.1 million in strategic investment from Deutsche Telekom’s corporate customer arm, T-Systems, and the rest from its existing unnamed Silicon Valley-based investors.
The company plans to use the fresh funds for research and development and to expand to new geographies.
Founded in 2013, Roambee offers IoT-based solutions for shipment tracking using sensor data, analytics, and predictive reporting. It currently has about 100 customers in India, including Nestle India Ltd, Blue Dart Express Ltd, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.
