Skype will no longer provide support for older versions of Windows, Android

As Skype shifts from a P2P service to cloud-based service, a few changes to the app were unveiled by Microsoft. The company decided to drop support for Windows 8 phones and Android phones below OS 4.03. Microsoft aims to complete major changes to the Skype backend in the next few months.
