Snapdeal has acquired Hyderabad-based technology startup MartMobi for an undisclosed amount, a move to strengthen its mobility platform for merchants.
Hyderabad-based three-year-old startup is a self-service platform that can be used to create custom applications for retailers across all major mobile platforms.
MartMobi was founded by serial entrepreneurs Pramod Nair and Sathya Krishna Ganni. The platform enables the clients seamless connectivity with their customers’ existing back-end systems in addition to a real-time analytics engine to improve conversions and user engagement.
MartMobi was launched at NextBigWhat’s UnPluggd with a seed capital from IIIT Hyderabad and later raised funding from BitChemy Ventures and Srini Koppolu.
In the past six months Snapdeal has made a series of major acquisition, recently, it acquired payments and mobile recharge platform FreeCharge to boost its mobile presence, bought majority Stake In RupeePower and acquires Exclusively in December 2014.
