Snapdeal has launched an iOS app, Gaana gives its site a makeover, Travelguru partners with Staah and Must See India launches holiday customisaiton tool.

Online marketplace Snapdeal has launched a mobile shopping application for iPhone users. The company which already has mobile applications for Android and Windows users claims that 30% of all orders it takes comes from mobile phones.

Over the last six months, iOS has emerged as the second most popular operating system after Android, accounting for 12% of the mobile traffic on Snapdeal, the company said.Snapdeal iOS

The Snapdeal iOS app has a section for offers, features to sort and filter content and ability to track orders. The app has been on the store for five days. Last month, Flipkart launched its Native Android app.

Music Streaming Service Gaana Launches Gaana 3.0

Times Internet owned online music streaming service, Gaana has launched Gaana 3.0, its refreshed online portal with a new look and design. The site also incorporated some new features like a retooled user interface, flash technology and a number of pre-loaded playlists .The new features also come with an improved mobile applications, drop-down navigation , integrated linking and added social functionalities.

Online Travel Agency Travelguru Integrates with STAAH

Online travel agency Travelguru has integrated with STAAH to offer XML connectivity to its growing base of hotel customers.

With this, Travelguru will have access to more inventory. STAAH is an Internet distribution system that allows clients to distribute rates and inventory across the major websites.

Travelguru says it has a network of over 11000 domestic properties in over 450 cities of India and over 3,50,000 hotels worldwide.

Must See India Introduce New Dynamic Package Feature

Online travel portal, Must See India has introduce a new holiday package customisation solution called Dynamic Packages. Now customer need not look at packages and then start customizing, instead the they can just start entering in the location and the total number of nights they wish to stay and the packages will get created online immediately. The user can then further customize the package by choosing  the transport they want, the sightseeing options, the hotel choices, the room and meal plan selection and can complete the package booking online.
