As such, it’s a wonder that many companies treat their developers like cogs in a machine and that their most important metric has become hands-on-keyboard time.
This is not only a waste of precious work hours and money, but it’s also a missed opportunity to utilize some of the smartest people in the room to solve the biggest problems.
