Sony India announced the launch of its latest smartphone Xperia tipo in India on Wednesday. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and comes with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with expandable storage of up to 32GB including additional 50GB free storage.
The new phone is priced at Rs 9,999 and comes in two versions- single SIM and Dual. The latter is priced at Rs. 10,449. The Tipo comes bundled with apps such as Bollywood Hungama, Dainik Jagran, and Cricbuzz. Xperia Tipo users can also access appXtra, for exclusive access to music applications. Currently, the two devices are available in four colors- red, blue, white and black.
