There was a rumor that Sony is coming closer to Google, as they have decided to tie up as partners in the production of cellphones. So, it was obviously predicted that sooner or later Sony will start producing the cellphones equipped with Android platform. Even if they do not produce all their cellphones with Android platform, at least some of the cellphones were strongly expected to be of Android platform. But as I mentioned earlier it was rumor because the news has been confirmed that Microsoft and Sony have joined their hands in the production of Mobile based on Windows platform.
If I was supposed to state my view then I would say that the only drawback Sony had was its OS, which was not user-friendly as compared to the other OS platforms in the market such as Symbian, Android and Windows. I am really waiting for a similar phone to come, I wanted to go for a reliable brands like Nokia or Sony, but then the only problem as of OS.
And now Sony has showcased the intention in building Windows 7 powered phones and this information has been provided by Sony Ericsson CEO Jan Uddenfeldt. So lets see that which model will be named as the nest Sony phone with Windows OS.
Recently the new phone launched by Nokia N900 was equipped with some of the attracting features but the best part of it was its OS which was Maemo and it was a Linux based OS, till now I had this phone in my mind, but I think now I would prefer to wait for some more time.
