Chennai-based Uniphore Software Systems has raised an undisclosed amount in funding from IDG Ventures.
Uniphore’s solutions allow any software application to understand and respond to natural human speech, enabling humans to use the most natural of communication modes, speech, to engage and instruct machines.
Uniphore has customers across many industries, including Banking, Insurance, BPOs, Agriculture, Lending/MFI, Healthcare and Government.
Earlier, the company has received series A funding from Infosys Co-Founder Kris Gopalakrishnan. Uniphore had secured seed funding led by India Angel Network and investors include Ray Stata Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Analog Devices, and YourNest Angel Fund.
